Return & Exchange Policy for Stitch'd by India

At Stitch'd by India, we are committed to ensuring you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, we offer a straightforward return and exchange process. Please read the details below to understand our policy.

1. Return Policy Summary

Returns accepted within 14 days from the date you receive your order.
Customer covers return shipping costs for all returns.
A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund for returned items.
Final sale items: Items from our [1 collection name] are final sale and cannot be returned.
No restocking fee for exchanges or returns of defective or damaged items.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

The item must be unused, in original condition, and in its original packaging (including dusters or protective bags).
The item must not be damaged, worn, or altered in any way.

Once your returned item is received, we will inspect it to ensure it meets these conditions before processing your refund or exchange.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

Gift cards
Custom or personalized orders (these are made-to-order items and cannot be returned)
Final sale items, specifically from our Patterns.

4. Refunds (If Applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email about the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.
Please note that a 10% restocking fee will be applied to the total refund amount.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet:

Check your bank account for pending transactions.
Contact your credit card company – it may take some time for the refund to reflect.
Contact your bank – there may be additional processing time.

5. Sale Items

All items are eligible for return except for those clearly marked as final sale (such as items from our [collection name]). No returns will be accepted for these items.

6. Exchanges (If Applicable)

We will gladly exchange defective or damaged items for the same product.
If you wish to exchange an item:

Once we receive the item, we will process the exchange and ship the replacement product to you.

7. Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the item is returned, a gift certificate will be issued.
If the item was not marked as a gift, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves, the refund will be issued to the gift giver. They will be notified via email.

8. Customer-Covered Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for paying return shipping costs.

Once you initiate a return with us, we will provide you with a return shipping address.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for returns, especially for items valued over $75 USD. We cannot guarantee we will receive your returned item if it is not tracked or insured.

9. Processing Time for Returns & Exchanges

Once your returned item is received, we will process the return or exchange within 5-7 business days. Please note that shipping times for exchanges may vary depending on your location.

10. Restocking Fee

A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund for all returns, except in the case of defective or damaged items.
